The 215 square foot Columbarium located in the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church’s Annex Building has been converted from The Ladies’ Chapel into a sacred memorial space. The design was inspired by the curved walls of the historic Sanctuary that dates back to 1875. By emphasizing the existing stained glass window, bringing in lighter and warmer tones, and seamlessly integrating required systems, the space, housing 496 bronze urns, is transformed into a peaceful and calming place of remembrance.
Combining two stories within a midtown brownstone created a home for this chic restaurant/bar/social business that encapsulates the energy and sophistication of midtown Manhattan.
